Section 1. This Organization shall be known as Ahahui Pu’uwai Hemolele O Iesu ame Maria (Sacred Hearts Society).
Section 1. To instill to its members a devotion to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. The promulgating and cementing of friendly relations among its members, by encouraging them in time of sickness or when they shall pass from this life; to assist the parish of Maria Lanakila in any way possible; advising its members as to the proper way of living or conducting themselves according to the Catholic faith.
Christ has said: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst.” The members of the body of Christ “ought to be so bound that they are able to mutually support one another.”
To fulfill the aims of the Sacred Heart Society while keeping with the spirit of the truth, its members, coming from different conditions and professions, are in a society of believers with a view to strive for personal and mutual sanctification. Their Society places them under special protection of the Most Sacred Heart of the Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of the Church. They form a free association of the faithful according to Canon 215 of the Code of Canon Law, “to encourage the Christian vocation in the world.”
Section 2. To encourage each member to spend an hour each week with our Lord in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in reparation for the sins committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. (The Blessed Sacrament need not be exposed for one to make and hour of adoration in reparation. This should be a time of quiet prayer and reflection. Prayers could be in the form of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary or other devotions and prayers that can be found in reference to Sacred Heart of Jesus or the Blessed Sacrament.)

This Society shall be Catholic, nonpolitical, and non-profit.

The Maria Lanakila Tongan Ministry is actively involved in Maria Lanakila parish especially in liturgical music ministry as the Tongan choir. They are the choir for the Saturday liturgy at 5:30 p.m. They hold rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Their main focus is in rehearsing the liturgical music in English and in Tongan.
The parish of Maria Lanakila is comprised of different ethnicities. The Spanish community is one among them. They actively involve in the life of the parish. They are assisted pastorally by a Spanish speaking priest for their sacramental celebration as well as for other ministerial needs. The Holy Mass in Spanish is celebrated in Maria Lanakila Church on Sundays at 7:00pm. For any ministerial or sacramental needs, please call Fr. Wilson at 879-4844.
Filipino Catholic Club is founded with the goal of making the parish life more vibrant through the members participating in the activities of the parish through different ministries also to bring more Catholics to the same goal. The club also raises fund in order to support children through scholarship. They gather once a month for their regular meeting in the parish.
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization, with 1.6 million members. The Knights of Columbus gives members and their families opportunities to serve the Catholic Church, their communities, and each other.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church.
